Structure of government


"These voters were mostly from the middle and upper classes in both the cities and rural areas, and across religious lines" 
It means the German federal government had been dominated by social democratic party. The upper Clss and the middle class people  provide mostly of the  electoral  vote to support their parties and  get their needs met.

Section of right 
"Reich communities speaking a foreign language may not be deprived by legislation of their national identity, especially in the use of their mother language in education, in local administration and jurisdiction."

It mean that everybody has equal right, it does not matter where the come from, what language they speak. They have the same right has other citizens.

I chose these passages because Germany I feel that Germany has the same structure and right as U.S. Under the constitution every citizen have the same  right but in reality we don't. Upper class and middle class people have better everything than working and lower class people. They receive better education and better life style. The government provide policies that benefit their upper class people to keep them happy. Upper/ middle class voice count more than lower/ working class.
